Why do I need a license to use your songs?
If you are using music in any form of media then you need a license to use that piece of music. Please read the licensing information for the songs carefully as there are different types of licenses depending on what you intend to use the music for and for how long.
I have bought a license to use one of your songs but I am getting a “Matched Third Party Content” message on Youtube.
Don’t worry about it! This is because all of my songs are registered with a company that scans videos and detects any that use my songs. This is to protect my songs from illegal usage, as you can imagine there are many people who do not wish to purchase a license. Any videos that get detected and the owner cannot verify that they have purchased a license will have adverts shown on their videos which I receive a percentage of, therefore I can get paid from the use of my song.
If you have bought a license to use one of my songs and you would like to dispute the claim, simply click ‘Dispute’, select ‘I have a license or written permission from the proper rights holder to use this material’, confirm the next page and in the ‘Please explain briefly’ box copy and paste the details found in your license agreement that accompanies your music download. Claims should be resolved within 1-4 days.
If you have any more problems you can always contact the company that I use directly to resolve the situation. They will be happy to help. http://adrev.net/contact-us
